The Unemployables is a cable access sketch comedy show about making a cable access sketch comedy show. Created by Justin Minch and Jordan Posner in 2002,
The Unemployables chronicles the ups and downs, the infighting and
the competition of producing sketch comedy. The real comedy, however,
takes place behind the scenes, where six students are trying to film
a fictitious cable access show where everything always seems to go
wrong. The lines between reality and absurdity are frequently blurred,
and sometimes even the characters aren't sure if something happened
in a sketch or behind the scenes. |
